How Dinamic Oil Enhanced Sales with Notability
This manufacturing company moved from scattered notebooks to one powerful platform, giving their sales and engineering teams a faster, more accurate way to capture every customer conversation.

TL;DR
- Sangeet Jasani, COO of Dinamic Oil, brought Notability into a company built on technical, engineering-driven customer relationships.
- Recording and AI note-taking let the sales team stay locked in on clients instead of splitting attention with a notepad.
- Audio and notes stay in sync automatically, so nothing from a conversation gets lost and every detail is searchable later.
- The result: real time back. Even an hour a day adds up to more time selling, and faster, more accurate response times for customers.
Dinamic Oil North America is a manufacturer that designs and builds heavy-duty gearboxes, winches, and hoists out of North Carolina, serving as the US branch of an established Italian engineering firm. Given that the company’s products are quite technical, the team and their customers are in constant back-and-forth. Without a clear system, small but important details are at risk of getting lost along the way. Since adopting Notability, Dinamic Oil’s customers have reported faster response times and increased accuracy, thanks to the company’s improved organization.
Efficiency is key
“Pre-Notability, it was hectic,’ says Sangeet Jasani, COO of Dinamic Oil. “It was definitely less accurate, more time-consuming, and more chaotic.” Dinamic Oil has always prided itself on being technical, engineering-focused, and built on quality custom solutions for its customers. The company had a long, meticulous day-to-day process. They never lacked good ideas or good people, but something big was missing: an efficient system to keep it all running smoothly.
Jasani first heard about Notability through a colleague in India. He checked it out and immediately saw the potential for businesses.
“There has to be a standard on how you take notes, right?” Jasani says. For Dinamic Oil, that standard comes down to a few important actions. Note-taking should get teams to the substance of the matter quickly and provide key follow-up options, while also allowing teams to collaborate, attach media, and annotate. Notability covers all of it.
Creating space for closer connection
The first person Dinamic Oil downloaded Notability for was National Sales Manager Edgar Alvarado. “A couple months later, it was attached to his hip. He wouldn’t do anything without it,” Jasani says.
In sales, time and connection are everything. “It’s really important to have good manners while selling,” Alvarado says. That means maintaining eye contact with customers, letting the conversation flow naturally, and actively listening without stopping to jot things down mid-convo.
Notability’s Audio Recording feature takes multi-tasking of the equation entirely, so sales reps can stay locked in on the conversation with the client instead of splitting attention with your notes.
Never lose the details
In Notability, nothing from the conversation gets lost. Audio and annotations stay in sync automatically, and any thoughts added later during playback get timestamped right along with them. Jasani puts it in terms anyone running a business understands: time back. “Even if it only saves them an hour a day, that’s an hour extra they can be selling,” he says.
Jasani says his favorite feature is Notability’s AI features, including meeting summaries action items, and the ability to chat with your notes. If he needs to recall something a client said weeks ago, he can just ask Notability. The chat tells him when a topic was discussed and points him straight to that moment in the recording, so he can hear the client say it himself. “That’s invaluable,” Jasani affirms.
Alvarado also feels the difference in their workflow after using Notability firsthand. “It’s a pretty powerful tool and a really nice feature,” he says.
“Notability’s made my work life a lot easier.” - Edgar Alvarado, National Sales Manager at Dinamic Oil
For a company like Dinamic Oil that's built on strong relationships, less time managing notes means more time with customers. And in a business where every detail matters, that adds up fast.
